We organize and cater for all ages and can make this experience a truly pleasant one for beginners but also offer the possibility for advanced skiers and snowboarders to improve and exploit their talent.
Snowmobile Tours
These tours are the dream of every passionate adventurer. Bulgaria offers breathtaking scenery in the Pirin and Rila Mountain where adrenaline and excitement meet in this new activity full of adventure.
We can offer guided tours both for beginners and also for experienced riders. This is a unique opportunity to come in touch with a whole spectrum of wildlife while also visiting traditional villages using these high speed vehicles.
You can choose between a Full Day Pirin Lakes Tour, Half Day Rural Villages Tour, and for the experienced we can offer a Full Day Tour that will conquer mountaintops.
Golfing
Our Resort is situated on the fence of the Pirin Golf and Country Club. The Golf Course features two golf courses - one of them is the 18 hole championship golf course designed by Ian Woosnam and the Pirin Pine Course. We can offer different packages for beginners, intermediate and professional players because of the strong relationship we have with the Pirin Golf Club.
Mountain Biking and Trekking
Balkan Jewel Complex is situated within walking distance of the Pirin National Park. We can offer different packages of trekking and hiking on foot or using bikes.
Quad Bikes or Buggies 
Quad Bikes are a very popular activity in Bansko and Razlog region but buggies are the newest thrill. Off road buggies can pass through rivers and streams and across rugged terrain. Whether one chooses a buggy or an ATV, the adventure and thrill are a guarantee. One can choose among different routes for beginners or experienced drivers. In all tours experienced guides will find skills for you to conquer the mountain. This will be an unforgettable experience.
Offread Drive
A thrilling adventure with the chance of encountering the wildlife is this new activity being offered. One can choose between a Full Day Pirin Lakes Tour visiting lakes which are situated 2,500m up in the mountains, a Half Day Rural Villages Tour where one has the opportunity to visit traditional villages while climbing up 2,000m up in the mountain, or an Off Roading Extreme Self Drive Tour for the more experienced.
Air Tour
A single engine plane takes you around the whole of Razlog Valley for 20 minutes with a professional fully qualified pilot. This tour is ideal for people looking for adventure and adrenaline. This tour comes with all equipment prepared and transfers.
Fishing
Trout fishing in Bulgaria is very popular. The rich summer and spring seasons make fishing a pleasant experience even for people that have never fished before. Balkan Jewel Complex has a special arrangement with Ribarnika complex which is located 14km away from our resort.
Amongst the beautiful setting of the Pirin Mountain one can enjoy a full day of sport fishing. The three lakes available in this complex are full with trout weighing from 250 to 500gr each.
Balkan Jewel can also cater for competition where the catch is then prepared by a chef on a grill in front of you.
Horse Riding
15 pure Arabic, English and Eastern Bulgarian horses are waiting for you to experience this very popular activity in one of the best mountain surroundings in Europe. This activity brings you to the heart of nature, breathing the cleanest of air and quietness. Balkan Jewel Complex has a very good relationship with one of the best Horse Riding Base in Rusalite which is 15km away from our Complex. One can opt for a short ride of an hour with a fully qualified instructor or opt for more experienced activities such as jumping obstacles, galloping disciplines and cross country riding.
One can enjoy a total day of relaxation in this base by visiting the small farm found in this base which includes animals such as pheasants, peacocks and guinea fowl ending the day with a beautiful BBQ in a very traditional surrounding.
Paint ball
Paintball is the fastest growing extreme sport in the world. It is becoming more popular than rugby, mоuntain biking and snowboard. It is a sport with more than 600 championships in the year. It is a sport where more than 800 000 Paintball markers are sold in a year.
You can join this adventure by trying to play paintball in Bansko. Balkan Jewel can offer a wide range of activities and group challenges. One can combine this activity which can also be set in the forest or in any other place, with a picnic or nice lunch.
Karting
40 minutes away from our resort one can find a Go-Karting trek. If you have forgotten the sense of adrenaline, it is time to come and roll in this adventure. It is a place to romp at full speed in the ideal set-up for a wild but yet safe driving.
Rafting
Rafting is another extreme sport that will increase the adrenaline in your blood. Go rafting in the most beautiful rivers in Bulgaria - the Struma and the Mesta rivers, surrounded by rock formations and beautiful nature. Transfer, lunch, special equipment and professional instructor are part of the tour.
Hunting
Hunting in Bulgaria is one of the most practiced sports with a wide variety of game to hunt for, including deer, a whole spectrum of birds, wild boar. Our Reception Desk can give more information on the seasons and the different packages and equipment we can offer.
Bird Watching 
Bulgaria is one of the best places in Europe for bird watching as this country is a nesting ground for most European species during May and June and is on the migratory path of many Asian birds between September and mid-October. There are as many as 400 species to admire in their natural habitat.
